Ex-LASK attacker set for move to Ligue 1 top club
Although the transfer window in France has already closed, there's a loophole for the Japanese player.
Former LASK attacker Keito Nakamura is likely to soon become a teammate of Austrian international defender Felix Bacher.
According to "L'Equipe", the Japanese player is moving from second-division club Reims to Olympique Lyon. The transfer window in France has been closed since Wednesday, but a 'joker rule' is being activated.
Loan with obligation to buy
Lyon sold Malick Fofana to Sunderland at the last minute, and can now bring in a replacement.
Nakamura is expected to arrive on loan with an obligation to buy for eleven million euros, plus additional bonuses.
The 26-year-old played for LASK between 2021 and 2023, after which he moved to Stade Reims for a reported twelve million euros.
