FC Schalke 04 announces a new striker in the final stages of the transfer window. Hee-chan Hwang will move on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Gelsenkirchen.

According to "Sky", there will also be a purchase option of three million euros for the offensive player.

The 30-year-old South Korean brings a lot of experience, having previously played in Germany for HSV and RB Leipzig.

Also played in Salzburg

In 2015, Hwang moved from his home country to FC Liefering; from 2016 to 2020, the striker played for Red Bull Salzburg in Austria. In the interim, he was on loan to HSV during the 2018/19 season.

In the last four years, the South Korean was with the Wolves, making 150 appearances (27 goals). The Wolves were relegated to the Championship this year.
