Schicker Sells 19-Year-Old Talent to Leverkusen
The transfer fee is in the millions, and the deal also includes a sell-on clause.
TSG Hoffenheim is parting ways with homegrown player Luca Erlein.
As reported on Saturday, the 19-year-old right-back is moving to Bayer Leverkusen for a transfer fee of two million euros.
According to "Sky," Hoffenheim has also secured a 15 percent sell-on clause.
Is a Loan Spell Pending?
In Leverkusen, the versatile defender will receive a contract until 2030. However, according to reports, the "Werkself" is seeking an immediate loan for the 19-year-old German.
Erlein comes from TSG Hoffenheim's youth academy. In 2025, he debuted in the Europa League for the first team, but it was his only appearance for the Bundesliga squad.
