Adi Hütter drops quartet including ex-Chelsea star
The Austrian is not taking last season's second-division top scorer to the training camp. An ex-Chelsea star is also among those affected.
Adi Hütter is once again head coach at Eintracht Frankfurt this summer. He is already making clear decisions.
According to "kicker", a quartet will not even be on board for the training camp in Grassau on Lake Chiemsee. This includes Noel Futkeu, who was re-signed. The 23-year-old was the top scorer in the 2. Bundesliga last season for Fürth with 19 goals.
Eintracht brought him back via a buy-option for 1.3 million euros. Now he is expected to look for a new club. His market value is 7.5 million euros.
Ex-Chelsea Star Dropped
Michy Batshuayi is also missing. The 32-year-old was once a champion with Chelsea in England (2017) and FA Cup winner (2018), as well as Copa del Rey winner in Spain (2019 with Valencia).
The Belgian was signed from Fenerbahce for three million euros in February 2025 and still has one year on his contract.
Ellyes Skhiri (31) and Jessic Ngankam (26) were also dropped.
