World Cup Player Moves to Saudi Arabia for Around 70 Million Euros
The Dutch international will play for Al-Hilal in the future. Crysencio Summerville is thereby almost setting a new record.
At the 2026 World Cup, Crysencio Summerville was still on the field for the Netherlands, now the 24-year-old winger is moving to the Saudi Pro League.
As reported on Friday, Summerville is signing a contract with Al-Hilal until 2030.
It's a significant deal. Al-Hilal is transferring a base fee of 64 million Euros to West Ham United. Through bonuses, the sum could rise to at least 70 million Euros, with Fabrizio Romano even reporting 76 million Euros.
Second Most Expensive Transfer in Two Leagues
This makes Summerville the second most expensive transfer in the history of the Saudi Pro League, after Neymar's move to Al-Hilal in 2023 (90 million Euros).
Furthermore, he is also the second most expensive departure from the English Championship. There, the "Hammers" only set a new record this summer with the sale of Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham Hotspur (99 million Euros).
