Is Sangare set to follow his coach to Glasner's former club?
The former Bundesliga player is coming off a phenomenal year in France. He could follow the same path as his coach.
Mamadou Sangare has had an incredible year at RC Lens.
Having arrived from SK Rapid for eight million euros, the Malian immediately established himself as a key player and played a significant role on the way to securing second place in Ligue 1 and winning the Coupe de France.
Sangare was voted the best African player by Ligue 1, becoming the first Malian to receive the honor, and in his home country, the 24-year-old received the Player of the Year award.
More than 40 million euros for Sangare?
Just one year later, Lens could sell the midfielder at a profit.

Now, according to "Sky Sports", Crystal Palace has also joined the chase. Oliver Glasner's former club is reportedly prepared to dig deep into their pockets for Sangare's transfer. A transfer fee of over 40 million euros is being discussed.
Intriguingly: Pierre Sage was recently introduced as the new head coach at Crystal Palace. The 47-year-old Frenchman coached Sangare last year at Lens and is considered a strong proponent of the Malian.
