Is Atletico Madrid poaching in Ligue 1?

As Fabrizio Romano reported on Monday, the "Rojiblancos" and Paris Saint-Germain have agreed on a transfer for Kang-in Lee.

The offensive player is reportedly moving from the French to the Spanish capital and will sign a five-year contract there.

Rotation Player in Paris

Around 40 million euros are reportedly being paid for the midfielder. The South Korean international moved from RCD Mallorca to the reigning Champions League winner on a free transfer in summer 2023.

However, the 25-year-old never got beyond the role of a squad player there. The competition in attack was too great. In total, Lee made 124 appearances for PSG, scoring 16 goals and providing 16 assists.

Second New Signing for Atleti

The South Korean would be Atletico's second new signing in this transfer window.

So far, a new wing-back for the left side, Alejandro Grimaldo from Bayer 04 Leverkusen, has been signed.

According to Romano, the next transfer target is Morten Hjulmand. The former Admira Wacker player is currently under contract with Sporting Lisbon.
