Manchester United sign 29-year-old Youri Tielemans!
The captain of the Belgian national team moves from Aston Villa to the "Red Devils" for 41 million euros. This sum was reportedly stipulated as a release clause in his previous contract.
Tielemans signs a contract in Manchester until 2031.
Brings a wealth of experience
Tielemans has already left his mark on the Premier League. For Leicester City and Aston Villa, he made 244 appearances in the English league. There, he scored 26 goals and provided 39 assists.
At the World Cup, he led the Belgians onto the pitch as captain. He scored two important goals in the round of 32 against Senegal, who were defeated 3-2 in extra time.
