Fans vote ÖFB gem Player of the Month
The 20-year-old only joined the club in the summer, but he immediately made an impression on the fans.
Brentford FC fans have voted Jannik Schuster their Player of the Month for September.
"This means a lot to me, I'm really happy," the 20-year-old defender said in a video posted by the club on social media.
Austria's U21 international only moved to the "Bees" from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer. In early September, the Tyrolean made his Premier League debut, followed by three starts against Bournemouth, Chelsea, and Aston Villa.
The West London club transferred 18 million euros for his services to the "City of Mozart" (Salzburg), and Schuster has a contract with Brentford until summer 2031.
