After Contract Expiry in Ried: Scherzer Moves to Thailand
The 31-year-old was most recently under contract with SV Ried. Now, after his contract expired, he has found a new challenge.
Jonathan Scherzer is set to play in Thailand!
After his contract with SV Ried expired in the summer, the 31-year-old was looking for a new club. He has now found one and joins Pathum United FC.
"This is my first time playing outside of Europe. It gives me the chance to open myself to new experiences, to get to know the culture and people, and to adapt to the team as quickly as possible," said Scherzer.
Before his spell in Ried, where he only made 11 appearances, the Carinthian was under contract with Wolfsberger AC for five years. He made 103 competitive appearances for Wolfsberg.
