Ex-DFB Coach Julian Nagelsmann Targeted by Top Club
Currently, the English club is in a crisis, so something could soon change on the coaching bench.
Manchester United is currently experiencing the worst Premier League start in the club's history.
From seven games, the "Red Devils" have so far only collected seven points, and things aren't much better for Michael Carrick's team in the Champions League either. Most recently, United had to admit defeat 1:4 at Como (To the match report>>>).
Therefore, the pressure on coach Carrick is growing. According to "Sky", the Englishman is said to be given three more games against Bournemouth, Chelsea, and Roma. Should the results not improve there, Carrick's time is likely over. Julian Nagelsmann is said to be one of the top candidates as a potential successor.
Svoboda Coach Also a Candidate
According to media reports, Nagelsmann is also willing to talk if an offer is made. The former German national team coach was recently also linked with former club RB Leipzig.
Besides Nagelsmann, the also currently unattached Antonio Conte and Eddie Howe are being linked with the job at United.
Another German, Fabian Hürzeler, is also in focus. However, the 33-year-old is currently still under contract with Brighton. The team of ÖFB legionnaire Michael Svoboda had a very strong start to the season and is currently in third place.
