Accordingly, the 51-year-old Upper Austrian is expected to sign a three-year contract until summer 2029 with last year's Europa League semi-finalist and become one of the best-paid coaches in the Premier League.
At least that's what the "Daily Mail" reports, claiming to have learned this. Consequently, Glasner is reportedly set to earn only slightly less than, for example, Unai Emery (Aston Villa), Andoni Iraola (Liverpool), Enzo Maresca (ManCity), or Roberto de Zerbi (Tottenham).
The quartet is thus reportedly receiving an annual salary of 10 to 12 million euros. Arsenal's championship-winning coach Mikel Arteta consequently pockets the biggest salary in England's top flight, at around 15 million pounds.
