Is a surprise brewing?

As the English "Telegraph" reported on Wednesday, Oliver Glasner will become the new coach at Nottingham Forest. At the league rival of his former club Crystal Palace, he is reportedly set to succeed Vitor Pereira, who is expected to leave the club in the summer.

Milan Rejection

After his departure from Palace, the Austrian was searching for a club, and for a long time, everything pointed towards a move to Serie A with AC Milan. The Italians ultimately opted for Ruben Amorim. Now, Glasner seems to have found a new role in England.

The 51-year-old has built an outstanding reputation on the island and won three titles with Palace in the last two years.

Nottingham's Weak Season

Nottingham, on the other hand, has had a weak last season. The club finished 16th, just five points above the relegation zone.

Last season, the club was still represented in the Europa League, playing in the league phase, among other places, in Graz against Sturm. The two clubs drew goalless. In the end, Nottingham was eliminated in the round of 16 by Midtjylland.
