Nottingham Forest's start to the season has been far from ideal. After seven games, the Premier League club has only five points.

This also puts coach Oliver Glasner under increasing criticism. Ahead of Friday's away match against Ipswich Town (starting 9:00 PM CET in the LIVE ticker >>>), the 52-year-old Austrian addressed doubts about his work at the press conference.

"The results are not satisfactory, but I will not change my life principles or my idea of how football should be played. Because that's exactly why I'm sitting here as a Premier League coach," Glasner explained.

The former Frankfurt and Crystal Palace coach then referred to his recent successes.

"I was just told that I am the coach who has won the most titles in the last 16 or 17 months. Why are there doubts now?" Glasner asked.

Expectations were higher

The Austrian is convinced that his team deserved more points so far. At the same time, he knows that the results do not meet expectations.

"We feel we deserved more points, but the reality is we don't have them," he clarified.

Changes not ruled out

Glasner wants to remain true to his playing philosophy. However, he does not rule out changes.

"It's not just about how we play football, but also about how we interact with each other," the 52-year-old explained.

He described the current situation with a vivid comparison: "We are currently in the middle of a thunderstorm, but you have to get through it. Afterwards, the sun will shine again."

The team now aims to achieve a sporting turnaround in the away game against Ipswich.
