After Liam Delap scored to make it 3-1, the "Tricky Trees" manager could no longer hold back his emotions. He broke into a sprint to join in the celebrations with his players.

Speaking to the "BBC" after the match, Glasner joked: "That's probably one of my best running stats."

He added: "I'll be tired tomorrow, but I can afford to be because it's the international break, so I can rest."

"We've shown better performances before"

However, Glasner wasn't entirely satisfied with how the game unfolded. "I think we've put in better performances in possession before because today we hardly had the ball."

The 52-year-old nevertheless highlighted: "In terms of team spirit and energy, I think it was our best game."

"We've played many better games, but the way we defended, how passionately and tactically smart we defended, that was one of our better games," Glasner emphasized regarding his team's performance.

With the win, Nottingham temporarily move out of the relegation zone.
