Things are going great for Hertha - and how.

Even after matchday 11 of the 2. Bundesliga, the Berliners remain unbeaten. ÖFB legionnaire Oluwaseun Adewumi has played his part in that as well.

The 21-year-old scored the 1-0 goal (43') in the top match against VfL Wolfsburg, taking his goal tally for this season to five and making him the joint-top scorer for the "Old Dame" alongside Josip Brekalo.

Praise from the coach

Following Adewumi's seventh consecutive start, Hertha coach Stefan Leitl called him a "highly talented player" speaking to "Sky".

He noted that the club had "made a good catch" with Adewumi.

What is particularly important to the head coach regarding the winger? "He always arrives in the box - and that's how he can carry a goal threat. That is very, very important."

"Outstanding quality"

Furthermore, Leitl agreed with the presenter's assessment describing Adewumi as a player with "outstanding quality for the 2. Liga." "Yes, definitely," replied the German.

After the international break, Hertha continue away at Energie Cottbus before hosting KSC and head coach Maximilian Senft.
