Bitter blow! Chukwuemeka subbed off injured shortly before ÖFB camp
The Dortmund player had to come off injured after half an hour.
Bad news for Carney Chukwuemeka and potentially also for the ÖFB team.
The BVB attacking midfielder had to be substituted after 33 minutes against Elversberg.
Shortly before that, Chukwuemeka sat down on the pitch, clutching his left thigh. At least the ÖFB player was able to leave the pitch under his own power. There are no details regarding the injury yet.
This coming Saturday, Austria face Ireland in the Nations League.
