Muslic confirms: Ex-DFB player fit again ahead of clash with Ilzer's club
The Austrian head coach of the "Knappen" can count on a former international in the upcoming Bundesliga match. A key player from last season is also fit again.
Encouraging squad news for Miron Muslic and FC Schalke 04.
As the Austrian revealed at the press conference ahead of Sunday's upcoming Bundesliga match against Christian Ilzer's TSG Hoffenheim (from 7:30 PM in the LIVE Ticker>>>), two key players are returning to the matchday squad: 24-time DFB international Robin Gosens and Moroccan Soufiane El-Faouzi.
"Both were in full team training all week. We have the green light from the medical department. In these times, when we are missing quite a few boys, that is finally something positive again," Muslic said.
The injury-plagued "Knappen" urgently need a return to winning ways, having gone five games without a victory in the German Bundesliga. As a result, they currently sit 17th in the table.
