Former WAC striker set for Frankfurt exit
Eintracht Frankfurt are aiming for a winter transfer. Terminating his contract is also considered a possible option. He spent the second half of last season at WAC.
Jessic Ngankam and Eintracht Frankfurt could part ways for good in the upcoming winter transfer window.
According to "Bild", the 26-year-old striker has no future with the Hessen club. Alongside a transfer, a termination of his contract, which runs until 2028, is also considered a possibility.
In the summer of 2023, the former Germany U21 international striker left Hertha BSC for Frankfurt. After loan spells at Mainz 05 and Hannover 96, Ngankam joined Wolfsberger AC on loan in February 2026. He scored one goal in eight appearances for the Lavanttaler.
A return to WAC in the winter is considered virtually out of the question, as the Lavanttaler recently signed a new striker in Jack Lahne.
