RZ Pellets WAC is strengthening its offensive line. With Jack Lahne, a striker is joining who is well acquainted with Austrian football from his time in the ADMIRAL 2. Liga.

The native Zambian, who holds Swedish citizenship, most recently played for SC Austria Lustenau, where he did not extend his contract which expired in the summer.

For the Vorarlbergers, the 1.80 m tall right-footed player scored twelve goals in 43 appearances, with nine goals last season, making a decisive contribution to the Vorarlbergers' promotion.

Schmid Knows Lahne's Qualities

Before that, his football career took him from the Swedish club IF Brommapojkarna to SC Amiens in France. After several loan spells, the former Swedish youth international, who now plays for Zambia at senior level, joined SC Austria Lustenau in January 2025.

He has now signed a contract with Wolfsberger AC until 2028.

"I am very happy that the move to Wolfsberg worked out. I was already at the stadium for the match against Sturm Graz and now I want to help the team as quickly as possible. I am already looking forward to my first appearances in front of our home fans," Lahne expressed his joy over the successful transfer.

Manfred Schmid also looks forward to the collaboration with anticipation: "I know Jack from his time in Lustenau. Then the opportunity for a trial training arose, where he managed to impress. With his speed and finishing quality, he brings a lot that we need for our playing philosophy and represents a great addition to our attack."
