Goalkeeper Hendrik Bonmann played for Wolfsberger AC between 2022 and 2024, making a total of 60 competitive appearances for the Carinthians.
For more than two years, the German has been under contract with Ludogorets Razgrad in Bulgaria. In his first season, Bonmann won the league title, cup, and super cup with the club.
Move to Bayern was "very concrete"
After that, in summer 2025, the 32-year-old was linked with FC Bayern Munich. The interest was "very concrete," as Bonmann stated in an interview with "SPORT1."
"In the end, I wasn't needed after all. Sven Ulreich then continued and extended his contract. Actually, everything had already been settled between us," the keeper said, looking back.
Bonmann's contract in Bulgaria runs until 2027. This year, serial champions Ludogorets Razgrad were dethroned by Levski Sofia.
