Report: Hütter's Frankfurt interested in PSG talent
The Hesse-based side are looking to bolster their defence and reportedly have a Paris Saint-Germain defensive talent in their sights.
Will another PSG player move to the Main this coming January?
According to a report by French sports newspaper "L’Équipe", Adi Hütter and Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in defensive talent David Boly.
The 17-year-old operates primarily as a right-back. Should the move materialise, he would become the fourth player to swap Paris for Frankfurt since 2018.
Boly made his Ligue 1 debut last October, coming on as a substitute under PSG head coach Luis Enrique in a 5-1 victory over Le Havre AC. Most recently, the 17-year-old also featured on the latest Champions League matchday against Villarreal CF.
Trouble spot at right-back
The French youth international could provide a solution on the right side of defence for Frankfurt.
While Eintracht coach Adi Hütter has two recognised right-backs at his disposal in Elias Baum and Timothy Chandler, neither is currently viewed as a first-team regular. Baum has failed to convince in his appearances so far, while veteran Chandler is already 36 years old.
As a result, Nnamdi Collins has previously been forced to fill in at right-back, while attacking players Ansgar Knauff and Ayoube Amaimouni-Echghouyab have also been deployed on the wing in a back three or five.
La Liga defender also linked
According to "Marca", Buba Sangare of Elche CF is also being touted as a potential target. The 19-year-old joined David Affengruber's former club from AS Roma in the summer and has made ten La Liga appearances so far.
However, with a contract running until 2031, he is likely to be significantly more expensive than Boly — whose current deal at PSG expires next summer.
