Former Klagenfurt player shines in 2. Bundesliga
Ben Bobzien turns match-winner with two goal contributions in Dynamo Dresden's convincing victory over Fürth. Braunschweig and former ÖFB assistant coach Kornetka play out a goalless draw.
Thanks in part to former Klagenfurt player Ben Bobzien, Dynamo Dresden secured a 3-0 victory over SpVgg Fürth on matchday 11 of the German 2. Bundesliga.
Austrian legionnaire Ahmet Muhamedbegovic played the full 90 minutes for Dynamo.
Bobzien scored the second goal himself in the 41st minute after Wagner had put the hosts ahead. Ten minutes after the restart, the forward set up Vermeij's strike.
Disastrous day for Salzburg loanee Blank
For Hendry Blank, on loan from Salzburg, it was a day to forget. The Fürth defender unluckily deflected the ball on both of the first two goals conceded.
To make matters worse, the 22-year-old German was sent off for a second yellow card after an hour following a tactical foul on Bobzien.
Goalless in Braunschweig
Eintracht Braunschweig and Energie Cottbus drew 0-0 in the parallel fixture. Neither Damjan Kovacevic (remained on the bench for 90 minutes) nor Maximilian Entrup (knee injury) featured for Lars Kornetka's side.
