On Matchday 8 of the Premier League, AFC Bournemouth beat Manchester United 3-0.

The pressure is mounting for United coach Michael Carrick. The former "Red Devils" midfielder witnessed another weak performance from his team.

Bournemouth's super talent Rayan puts Rose and the "Cherries" on the winning track. The 20-year-old scored the opening goal in the 38th minute, assisted by Kluivert's cross.

Tavernier extends lead to 2-0

Just five minutes later, Tavernier scored to make it 2-0 (43') after an assist from Truffert. Manchester United's defence was too unfocused, making it easy for Bournemouth.

After the break, Rayan had a massive chance to make it 3-0. The Brazilian effortlessly dribbled past Dalot and Martinez but shot just wide (66').

Evanilson then sealed the deal. After a long ball, Lammens came out of his goal, the striker poked the ball past him and shot into the empty net to make it 3-0 (72').

After this defeat, Manchester United are now only in 16th place. Bournemouth overtake the "Red Devils" and are now 13th.

Liverpool stays close to the top with victory

Liverpool celebrated a dominant 2-0 victory against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Wirtz tried his luck from the edge of the box in the 17th minute. Groß deflected the ball unstoppably – Verbruggen had no chance to prevent the 1-0.

Just three minutes later, Barcola burst forward after a clearance from Alisson, leaving Boscagli behind. From the byline, he squared the ball to Isak, who only had to tap it in (20').

For Brighton, it was their first defeat in eight games. Liverpool are now fourth, one point behind the "Seagulls".

Jaissle's Newcastle overcome Crystal Palace

Matthias Jaisse's Newcastle celebrated a 2-0 away victory against Crystal Palace.

The first half was a very competitive match. Shortly after the break, the "Magpies" struck twice. Osula scored the 1-0 just two minutes after halftime (47').

Between the two goals, a Willock strike was disallowed for offside (52'). However, Barnes extended the lead to 2-0 a short time later, assisted by former Salzburg player Dedic (58').

Newcastle are now seventh, while Crystal Palace are 17th, just one place above the relegation zone.

Hull City and Brentford play out a draw

Hull City and Brentford drew 1-1.

McBurnie scored for the hosts from the penalty spot to give them a 1-0 lead (24'). In the second half, Ouattara equalised for the "Bees" (63').

The recovered Jannik Schuster remained on the bench for the "Bees" for 90 minutes.

Hull City are now tenth, while Brentford remain sixth for now.
