Uninspired Interview: Bayern Star Embarrasses Reporter
Following Bayern's emphatic Champions League opener, a teammate of Konrad Laimer creates memorable TV moments.
It's no secret anymore that Michael Olise is not a man of many words.
The attacking star of FC Bayern Munich is known for his "cool," introverted demeanor, which at times earns him accusations of antipathy and arrogance.
Especially when dealing with the media, the Frenchman (24) is considered a special case.
Following the German record champion's 5-0 home victory over Bodö/Glimt, the two-goal scorer lived up to his reputation.
In an interview with "DAZN" reporter Jochen Stutzky, Olise appeared anything but euphoric about the emphatic victory at the start of the Champions League group stage.
When asked how easy it was for him to score such beautiful goals, "Man of the Match" Olise simply said: "I don't know."
To the question of whether he thought about his goals or if they happened instinctively, Olise replied concisely: "I mean, I shoot. Then it goes in or it doesn't."
Later, reporter Stutzky even told the Ballon d'Or candidate: "You're making it quite difficult for me to conduct an interview with you."
