Sturm forward Wlodarczyk offered to club with ÖFB trio
The Pole could return to his home country, where the transfer window is still open.
What's next for Szymon Wlodarczyk?
With one year left on his contract at SK Sturm Graz, the 23-year-old is still considered a candidate for departure. He was recently absent from the Graz squad.
After the match against SK Rapid, coach Fabio Ingolitsch said: "We made a conscious decision because a potential transfer for 'Wloda' is on the table."
Move to club with ÖFB Trio?
He can no longer move to NK Celje (Slovenia) after the transfer window closed there. In Switzerland (Thun was rumored), the window is only open until Tuesday (17:59). In his home country, Poland, there is still time until Wednesday 23:59.
That's exactly where the next lead points. According to "magiapilki.pl", Wlodarczyk has been offered to promoted club Wisła Kraków.
An ÖFB trio – Dario Grujcic, Marko Bozic, and Julius Ertlthaler – would be waiting there. Ervin Omic recently left the club for Romania >>>
In the past, clubs like Korona Kielce and Widzew Łódź were also considered potential suitors. However, none of these clubs have so far made a firm decision to sign the Pole. A deal is therefore becoming increasingly unlikely.
Not Registered for EL
The Pole moved from Górnik Zabrze to Graz in 2023 for a reported 2.2 million euros. He never truly established himself along the Mur, and was also loaned to Salernitana and Excelsior Rotterdam.
Wlodarczyk could also spend his final contract year in Graz. However, he will not be seen in the league phase of the UEFA Europa League, as he was not nominated.
