After a year at Blau-Weiß: Weissman returns to Israel
After the Israeli capital club had already withdrawn from negotiations, Shon Weissman is now returning to his homeland after all.
Beitar Jerusalem has announced the signing of Shon Weissman.
The capital club had temporarily withdrawn from negotiations, but now the 30-year-old Israeli is returning home after all.
Relegation with BW Linz last season
Weissman, who had his international breakthrough at Wolfsberger AC, returned to Austria last September after spells at Real Valladolid, Granada, and Salernitana, joining Blau-Weiß Linz on a free transfer.
Despite nine goals and one assist in 27 games, the 33-cap Israeli international could not prevent the Upper Austrians' relegation. Weissman did not extend his expiring contract afterwards.
