GAK continues to diligently push forward with its squad planning!
Following the signing of Petar Markovic, the Bundesliga club also secured the services of Leon Klassen on Thursday.
The 26-year-old left-footer, who played for the Graz club on loan last spring, has, according to a press release, moved permanently from German second-division side SV Darmstadt 98 to the Reds.
Three-year contract signed
Klassen consequently signed a contract until summer 2029. The German-Russian had previously also been active for Spartak Moscow, 1860 Munich, and WSG Tirol.
"We are very pleased that Leon has decided to return to GAK and that we have now been able to sign him permanently until 2029. We are convinced that Leon will enrich our game with his dynamism and offensive drive, just as he did in the spring. It's great that he consciously chose GAK despite other options," said sporting director Tino Wawra.
