WAC celebrates successful Cup dress rehearsal
In the final stages of preparation, they achieve a victory against a regional league team. One of the new signings also scores.
WAC celebrates a 4-0 victory against ATUS Velden at the conclusion of their preparation for the new competitive season.
Already in the tenth minute, new signing Giacomo Vrioni scored to make it 1-0. Before halftime, Fabian Wohlmuth extended the lead to 2-0 in the 24th minute. Sankara Karamoko (49th minute) and Veljko Vukojevic (56th minute) secured the 4-0 final score in the Waldarena Velden.
WAC will play their first competitive match of the 2026/27 season already on Friday. The Lavanttal team will play away against FC Lauterach in Vorarlberg in the first round of the UNIQA ÖFB Cup.
