Hartberg's New Goalie Likely Comes from FC Liverpool
In search of a replacement for Tom Ritzy Hülsmann, the East Styrians are likely to find what they're looking for at the Premier League giant.
TSV Hartberg has likely found its new first-choice goalkeeper.
According to "The Athletic", the East Styrians are on the verge of signing Armin Pecsi. The 21-year-old Hungarian, born in Hainburg an der Donau, is currently under contract with FC Liverpool and is expected to join on loan until the end of the season.
At TSV, the 1.90-meter tall goalkeeper is expected to gain regular playing time at a professional level. Hartberg has reportedly beaten out several clubs from Switzerland and France.
The "Reds" paid around 1.80 million Euros for Pecsi in the summer of 2025, who previously completed a large part of his training at the Puskas Academy. In June, the young keeper celebrated his debut for the Hungarian national team.
In Hartberg, the position of the number one goalkeeper is vacant after Tom Ritzy Hülsmann's departure to France.
