SV Ried signs Bundesliga veteran
Martin Kreuzriegler is moving to the Innviertel region for family reasons. SV Ried benefits from this.
As reported by "Oberösterreichischen Nachrichten", Martin Kreuzriegler is moving to the Innviertel region. The central defender was most recently under contract with GAK.
Kreuzriegler played 35 times for GAK. Last season, the veteran made 21 appearances for the "Rotjacken" and was on the pitch for just over 1100 minutes, most recently in the decisive 3-0 away win against Blau-Weiß Linz.
Veteran for the "Young Vikings"
However, as "OÖN" reports, the 32-year-old is not intended for the first team, but is meant to bring Bundesliga experience to Ried's Regionalliga team, along with Bernd Gschweidl.
Nevertheless, it is expected that Kreuzriegler will move up to the Bundesliga team if needed.
