Before Bundesliga Kick-off: SCR Altach Announces a Departure
The midfielder moved to Ländle in 2024. Now his time with the Vorarlberg club comes to an end.
SCR Altach and Diego Madritsch are parting ways.
As the Bundesliga club announced on Friday, the contract with the midfielder, which was originally set to run until the end of the season, has been terminated prematurely.
The 20-year-old had moved from SV Ried to Ländle in the summer of 2024 but was unable to establish himself with the Vorarlberg club, partly due to injury.
Madritsch did not make any competitive appearances for the first team; instead, the former ÖFB U19 international played 28 matches for Altach Amateurs in the Regionalliga West.
