FC Red Bull Salzburg is looking for a new number two. Will they find what they're looking for in Bulgaria?
Following Alexander Schlager's departure to Werder Bremen, FC Red Bull Salzburg made Christian Zawieschitzky (19) their new number one.
In addition to the youngster, a new number two is expected to join. "To complete the goalkeeper team, one more is definitely missing, but there's no rush because we are convinced that we are very well set up even without one. But in the long run, another goalkeeper will do us good," sports director Marcus Mann recently told 90minuten.

Will Salzburg strike in Bulgaria?
Now, the "Salzburger Nachrichten" are bringing another player with an Austrian past into play.
According to the report, there have been discussions with Hendrik Bonmann (Ludogorets Razgrad). The German is still under contract in Bulgaria until 2027.
The 32-year-old has experience in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga; between 2022 and 2024, he was with WAC. He made 60 appearances for the Carinthians. In Bulgaria, Bonmann won the double in 2024/25.
