The team currently seems to be in good form. "We score many goals and concede few. The team is working, so I'm enjoying the moment and grateful for it," says Tabakovic. "I still want to keep getting better and step up my game even more. There's also more potential in our play, but the coach is already addressing those weaknesses anyway."
The last three years, in which the "Bulls" won no titles, were not "Red-Bull-Salzburg-like," says Tabakovic. A change (overhaul) was therefore important. "Initially, you wonder where you stand after so many departures and arrivals; everything needs to fall into place. But for us, that has really gone well. I see a process where we are getting better from game to game."
Salzburg to visit Ried on Friday
At the same time, Tabakovic says: "No one ever became a champion just by talking. But the club belongs to a place where it wins titles every year." However, the competition is also strong.
Therefore, one mustn't underestimate the next opponent, SV Ried. The Salzburg team will be guests in Innviertel on Friday (7:30 PM, LIVE ticker >>>).
"That will be a difficult game," Tabakovic tells the "Krone". "They have a cool, small stadium with a good atmosphere. Such matches are never easy. It's important that we stick to our plan."
