After Injury: Slight All-Clear for Former Rapid Player Kühn
Gladbach announced that the offensive player had suffered a muscle bundle tear. However, the 26-year-old could return sooner than expected.
Borussia Mönchengladbach suffered a 3-4 defeat against Elversberg last weekend.
Adding to that was an injury to former Rapid player Nicolas Kühn, who is currently on loan from Como to Gladbach and made his debut against Elversberg.
On Tuesday, the "Foals" announced that the 26-year-old offensive player had suffered a muscle bundle tear. According to "BILD," the former Rapid player was injured during the cool-down training after the Elversberg match.
Further Examinations Provided New Insights
The Gladbachers, however, can now breathe a sigh of relief.
As "Sky" reporter Marlon Irlbacher reports, Kühn underwent further examinations. These revealed that the injury is not as severe as initially feared.
This brings hope that the former Celtic player will return to the pitch sooner than expected.
