DFB U19 international Mirza Catovic wants to leave VfB Stuttgart.
This is according to a report from "Sky". It states that positive talks have recently taken place with VfB's club management, who are said to have agreed to a transfer for Catovic under certain conditions.
This condition is primarily the right transfer fee. The 1.90-meter tall midfielder is considered one of the club's greatest talents and is contractually bound to VfB until 2028.
According to reports, Stuttgart will only let Catovic leave for a transfer fee in the mid-seven-figure range and prefers a sale abroad.
Salzburg, Juventus and Co. Show Interest
According to "Sky", this has also put FC Red Bull Salzburg on the map. The "Bullen" (Bulls) are said to be one of the clubs interested in the highly talented left-footed player, who plays in central midfield.
Salzburg reportedly inquired about Catovic last winter but their efforts were unsuccessful. Now, momentum is said to be returning to the matter.
Besides Salzburg, however, Juventus Turin, two top teams from Belgium, and other clubs from Europe are also said to be interested in Catovic, who made 29 appearances in Germany's 3. Liga last season (1 goal).
