SV Ried hosts two trialists
The Innviertler club has already been active on the transfer market, but planning is apparently not yet complete. Two trialists are currently getting a chance to prove themselves.
SV Ried has already made five new signings, but the Innviertler club's transfer activities are not over yet.
Two trialists, Akil Watts and Lazola Maku, are currently training with the Upper Austrians. This was reported by the "OÖN".
The 26-year-old Watts hails from the USA and has been without a club since the beginning of the year. He previously spent a total of four years under contract at St. Louis City, where the right-back played 57 MLS games.
Maku is seven years younger and comes from South Africa; the defensive midfielder recently also trained with FC Wacker Innsbruck. However, the second-division promoted club decided against signing the 19-year-old, who is under contract with Siwelele Football Club in his home country.
