Former Austria Wien player on the verge of return to Austria

As reported by the "Kronen Zeitung", the "Rotjacken" are on the verge of signing Petar Markovic.
According to reports, the centre-back has reportedly already completed his medical in Graz.
The 20-year-old was developed in the youth academy of Wiener Austria and moved to FC Bologna in the summer of 2024, where he played for the U20s last season. He was included in Bologna's Serie A squad once but did not feature.
Markovic made seven appearances for Austria's U19 national team.
