Salzburg's Omoregie Reportedly Still Plagued by Injuries
The 22-year-old, who has already had to overcome several injuries in his career, appears to have been struck down once more.
FC Red Bull Salzburg concludes its summer training camp this Thursday (5:30 PM) with a friendly match against Kharkiv FC.
Justin Omoregie will likely not be able to feature against the Ukrainians. As reported by the "Salzburger Nachrichten," the 22-year-old will be sidelined for weeks due to injury.
Last Competitive Match in May 2025
The midfielder has a long injury record. He has previously been plagued by groin, shoulder, and back problems. Additionally, he sustained an Achilles tendon rupture and a shoulder injury in the spring of this year.
Omoregie played his last competitive match in May 2025 while on loan at TSV Hartberg.
Omoregie still featured for one half in Salzburg's first summer pre-season friendly against SV Seekirchen (5-0).
