Salzburg key player out for weeks
The Salzburg attacking player suffered an injury during the 3-1 victory against LASK. A second key player also threatens to miss the match against Lustenau.
Sota Kitano will not be available for Red Bull Salzburg for the foreseeable future.
As announced by the "Bulls", the Japanese player suffered a ligament injury in his ankle during the victory against LASK, which will sideline him for "several weeks".
Kitano had to be substituted against the Linz side shortly before the end of the match. This season, the 22-year-old has three goals and five assists.
Lindström also doubtful
Jesper Lindström, the in-form loan player from SSC Napoli, is also doubtful for Sunday's clash against Austria Lustenau (from 2:30 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>).
On Friday, Lindström had to cut short his training session. He was directly involved in three goals in the last two league matches.
Defensive talent John Mellberg will also certainly not be available. The Swede suffered a muscle injury in his thigh during the cup victory in Bregenz earlier this week and will be out until further notice.
