Havel Transfer: Hot Lead Points to Italy
Departure rumors surrounding Elias Havel are picking up pace again. He is said to be the hottest candidate to succeed an Italian international.
With a strong season at TSV Hartberg, Elias Havel has put himself in contention for a move abroad. But despite international interest, a transfer has not materialized so far.
Now things could pick up speed. As transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio reports, Genoa CFC has chosen Elias Havel as their top candidate in the search for a successor to Jeff Ekhator.
According to the report, the "Rossoblu" are making progress in signing the 23-year-old striker.
Long-term contract reportedly ready
According to rumors, negotiations are already in the final phase. Havel is reportedly on the verge of signing in Genoa until 2030.
However, Elias Havel is not the only candidate for the striker position. As Gianluca Di Marzio's report indicates, Artem Dovbyk is coach Daniele de Rossi's preferred candidate. It is still unclear whether an agreement can be reached with AS Roma for a transfer.
