Maxi Entrup is likely heading to Germany!
The former national team player could play under the now former ÖFB coach Lars Kornetka in the future.
Will Maximilian Entrup move abroad for the first time in his career?
At double winners LASK, the three-time ÖFB national team player did not get beyond a substitute role last season. Now, a transfer to Eintracht Braunschweig is reportedly on the cards, as the "Braunschweiger Zeitung" reports.
A Losing Deal for LASK?
According to the report, Entrup has already agreed terms with Braunschweig.
The German second-division club is also said to have agreed on a transfer fee with LASK in the low six-figure range. Entrup moved from Hartberg to Linz in July 2024 for 1.3 million euros.
The player himself is said to have been in agreement with BTSV for some time.
Reunion with Kornetka
In Braunschweig, Entrup would meet an old acquaintance from the ÖFB team: Lars Kornetka. The now former assistant coach of the ÖFB team has been acting as Eintracht's head coach since March 2026.
Under Ralf Rangnick and assistant coach Kornetka, Entrup was brought on as a substitute in three friendly matches (2023-2024) and even scored a goal.
Entrup made 23 appearances in the past Bundesliga season, but only started five times (one goal, one assist).
