Aiwu: New club found?

Following his exclusion from training, even the "VdF" intervened. Now, the name of the former Italy and England legionnaire is being linked with a potential new club.

According to the Israeli medium "sport5", Maccabi Haifa is reportedly interested in the versatile defensive player. Aiwu is said to be "a candidate" to strengthen the defence of the team that finished fifth in the "Ligat ha'Al" last season.
The 13-time Austrian youth international had moved from US Cremonese to Graz-Liebenau in the summer of 2024 for 1.6 million euros.
After winning the championship in his first season, Aiwu fell out of favour under Fabio Ingolitsch last season. Aiwu did not feature in the professional team's four test matches so far.
