Husein Balic is back in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga.
The 30-year-old attacking player joins WSG Tirol, with the club from Wattens not disclosing details of the contract. The one-time ÖFB international had been without a club since February 2026, having previously played for two years in Poland with second-division side LKS Lodz.
In Austria, the winger is primarily known for his time at LASK. Balic boasts experience from 150 Bundesliga appearances and 22 matches on the international stage.
Balic Happy About Return to Austria
WSG Sporting Director Stefan Köck is pleased: "He is an experienced and composed attacking player with Bundesliga and international experience. He will provide our wing play with additional quality, pace, and penetration."
Balic is happy to be back in Austria. "The decision to join WSG was very easy for me, as the club is known for its family-like environment. The discussions with the sporting director and the coach were very good and completely convinced me," he says.
