Greil commits to Altach: "No need" for change
Patrick Greil has matured into an absolute key player in his debut season at SCR Altach - the playmaker can hardly imagine a move.
Patrick Greil is now an indispensable part of the SCR Altach squad.
In his very first season in Ländle, the midfielder has become an absolute key player: with brilliant performances and his 21 goal contributions (15 goals, six assists), he is primarily responsible for securing league survival and reaching the UNIQA ÖFB Cup final.
Greil commits to Altach
After an outstanding debut season, a departure would probably not be too big a surprise, but the midfielder does not feel this desire: "I have no need to change because I feel a lot of trust from Altach and I am valued," Greil tells the "Krone".
He enjoys "going to training every day and having fun with football. So, a lot would have to happen for a move."
"There aren't many places that are so great to live in"
This is due to the fact that he "feels very comfortable privately in Vorarlberg and at the club. I have the feeling that the club trusts me, and I had a huge desire to repay that trust," the 29-year-old announced after the Cup final against LASK.

Something that hasn't changed since then: "We already know how good we have it here. There aren't many places that are so great to live in. That plays a big role for me too."
Altach "on the Right Track" Ahead of Season Start
In preparation, Greil recently shone again with an assist in the 1-0 victory over FC Vaduz and a goal in the 1-2 defeat against 1. FC Heidenheim.
The Salzburg native looks optimistically to the new season with Altach: "We naturally still need to improve in some areas, but I think we are on the right track."
