Two Double-Digit Victories: How the ÖFB Women's Cup 1st Round Unfolded
The majority of the cup competition's first-round matches have been played. Alongside one surprise, two high-scoring victories particularly stand out.
USC Landhaus provides the first surprise in the ÖFB Women's Cup.
On Saturday afternoon, the second-division team defeats Bundesliga representative SpG Südburgenland/Hartberg 5:4.
The other Bundesliga teams fulfill their duties – some even resoundingly. FC Red Bull Salzburg wins 15:1 at Telfs. Substitute Magdalena Schwarz scores five goals. Altach also achieves a double-digit win against Rot-Weiß Rankweil. Joëlle Meister (4 goals) and Petra Muklica (4 goals) are the outstanding players of this match.
LASK (3:0 at GAK) and Rapid (4:1 at Sport-Club) also show no weakness.
