First Vienna FC has secured a surprising friendly match victory.

The second-placed team in the ADMIRAL 2. Liga defeated TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, coached by Christian Ilzer, 3-1 in a last-minute, non-public friendly match at the Dietmar-Hopp-Stadion (Sinsheim).

The goals for the Viennese were scored by Jürgen Bauer, Maximilian Filafer, and Christoph Monschein. The German Bundesliga club fielded a mixed team of first-team and U23 players.
