Forfang and Co. Opt for New Equipment Supplier

Some of Norway's ski jumpers are opting for a new equipment supplier next winter!

Among them is Johann Andre Forfang. The 31-year-old is now working with Fischer.

"I hope the collaboration will go well. It's brand new, but it's really nice to have a reliable and good partner by your side," he told "TV2".

Anna Odine Strom, Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal, Silje Opseth, Ingvild Midtskogen, and Adrian Gundersrud are also under contract with the brand.

Brand Switch Also Expected to Bring Financial Bonus

Not only is sporting performance to be confirmed, but the athletes are also expected to benefit financially. "Every athlete has private contracts, but I've found that it's more lucrative than in the past," says coach Rune Velta.

Opseth is also convinced: "If you do well, it pays off. It's a bonus system that I don't need to go into detail about, but it makes performance more rewarding," she adds. Forfang, however, did not want to comment on the financial aspect.

The season for the ski jumpers begins on November 20 in Lillehammer (NOR).
