The former coach of the Finns has found a new job.
Igor Medved is back in the Ski Jumping World Cup!
As the 45-year-old Slovenian confirmed to the Polish portal "sport.pl", he will become head coach of the Chinese national team with immediate effect.
For Medved, it's a return to the international stage. The Slovenian was proven to have consumed alcohol at the 2026 Winter Olympics, which is why he had to leave the Games prematurely and was subsequently suspended by the Finnish federation.
The 45-year-old took over as national coach of Finland in the summer of 2024.
