Tour de Ski: Is a race in Austria coming soon?
Since 2018, there has been no home race for the Austrians in the Cross-Country World Cup. Now, a return is being planned.
A comeback is on the horizon!
Since 2018, when the World Championship dress rehearsal took place in Seefeld, no Cross-Country World Cup has been held in Austria.
Now, however, the International Ski Federation (FIS) has offered Austria a Cross-Country World Cup for the 2027/28 winter season. This is reported by "Krone".
This is even said to be a date in the high-profile Tour de Ski. According to "Krone," only Ramsau and Seefeld would likely be considered.
The FIS expects an answer from Austria by December.
